The Gwanda Solar PV Park is a planned 100-megawatt (MW) solar power plant in Matabeleland South, Zimbabwe. 

The project is currently in the permitting stage, with construction expected to begin in 2024 and commercial operation starting in 2026. Once completed, the Gwanda Solar PV Park will be one of the largest solar power plants in Zimbabwe.

The project is being developed by Matshela Energy, a Zimbabwean company. The company has secured a power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) for the sale of electricity generated by the solar power plant.

The Gwanda Solar PV Park is expected to play a significant role in helping Zimbabwe to meet its growing energy demand and reduce its reliance on fossil fuels.
