- Situations where product specifications, accurately described on our website and generally fit for purpose, don't meet your specific needs
- Signs of handling and/or repackaging on unboxed deals or used products
Warranty Coverage
Standard Warranty
If you receive a defective or poor-quality product (excluding products with a direct warranty discussed below), notify us within 6 months of delivery or collection. You can initiate a return by logging a request on our WhatsApp number. We will arrange product collection and, upon inspection and return validation, offer you the choice of:
- Repair/Replacement: If possible and subject to stock availability, we can repair the product or replace it with the same model.
Please note: If a repair or replacement takes longer than 21 days, we will contact you to discuss a credit or refund option. Unfortunately, returns cannot be facilitated outside the 6-month standard warranty period unless covered by an extended supplier warranty.
Extended Supplier Warranty
Some products may have an extended supplier warranty exceeding the standard 6 months. If a product covered by an extended warranty becomes defective after the 6-month period, notify us as soon as possible but within the extended warranty timeframe.
Charges, Refunds & Restocking

If you return a defective product but fail to return all included accessories and parts, Sona Solar Zimbabwe reserves the right to (subject to applicable law):
