Please read these terms and conditions carefully before entering into a LayBye agreement with Sona Solar Zimbabwe.

Definition of Lay-by: To initiate a Lay-by, a down payment of 30% of the purchase price (including item sale price, shipping, and applicable taxes) is required. The remaining payment must be completed in full within 30 days, 60 days, or 90 days from the start date of the Lay-by. (The maximum term for a Lay-Bye purchase is 90 days) By entering into this agreement, you accept and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

1. LayBye Agreement:

A lay-by agreement enables you to purchase a product and pay for it in two or three instalments before taking it home. It is important for you to comprehend the coverage of the agreement and the cancellation process.

Payments for the Account Balance can be made through various options such as Cash Deposit, Mukuru, EcoCash, Western Union, WorldRemit, Mama Money, MojoMula Money, Senditoo, and other money sending methods to Zimbabwe. These payments are interest-free.

You will not receive the goods until the full price has been paid.

2. Payment Options:

We accept various payment options including Mukuru, EcoCash, Western Union, WorldRemit, Mama Money, MojoMula Money, Senditoo and other money sending options to Zimbabwe for the 90 Day LayBye Payment Options for Diaspora customers.
For all payment options, the payment is considered complete only after the money has been collected from the respective agents.

3. Payment Schedule:

You can select from the following LayBye periods: 30 days, 60 days, or 90 days.
The full payment must be made before the solar system and accessories can be installed.

4. Pricing:

The pricing outlined in the LayBye agreement is subject to change based on currency fluctuations, tariffs, or any other unforeseen circumstances.
In the event of a price change, you will be notified and given the option to proceed with the revised pricing or cancel the LayBye agreement for a full refund.

5. Cancellation and Refunds:

You have the right to cancel the LayBye agreement at any time.
If you choose to cancel, a cancellation fee of 15% of the total purchase price will be deducted from the refund amount.
If the cancellation occurs within the last 7 days of the LayBye period, an additional 5% surcharge will be deducted.
Refunds will be returned through the same payment method used for the initial LayBye payment, after deducting any applicable fees.

6. Default:

If you fail to make any scheduled payments within the agreed-upon LayBye period, Sona Solar Zimbabwe reserves the right to cancel the agreement.
In the event of cancellation due to default, all payments made up to that point will be forfeited, and the solar system and accessories will not be installed.
Sona Solar Zimbabwe reserves the right to pursue legal action to recover any outstanding debts in case of default.

7. Installation and Delivery:

The solar system and accessories will be installed and delivered after the full payment has been received and cleared.
Any additional installation costs or modifications required will be borne by the customer.

8. Warranty:

All Sona Solar products come with a manufacturer's warranty.
Warranty claims will be subject to the manufacturer's terms and conditions.

9. Limitation of Liability:

Sona Solar Zimbabwe shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury caused by the use of the solar system or accessories purchased under this LayBye agreement.
The customer agrees to use the products responsibly and in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.

10. Governing Law:

This LayBye agreement and any disputes arising from it shall be governed by the laws of Zimbabwe.
Any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zimbabwe.

11. Cancellation of Lay-by Order:

You have the right to cancel the lay-by agreement at any time before receiving the goods. If you cancel the lay-by or fail to make full payment within the initial three months, the item will be immediately returned to our inventory for resale. We will refund your deposit and all other payments made, except for a termination fee of 15% of the total item purchase amount. If your payments do not cover the termination fee, you will be responsible for paying the fee.

Please note that the 15% termination fee is non-refundable.

Changing items during the lay-by payment period will be treated as a cancellation, and the 15% fee will apply. The amount paid for a cancelled lay-by will not be transferred to a new lay-by; instead, it will be directly refunded to your bank account.

Sona Solar Zimbabwe (LayBye Terms and Conditions)

You acknowledge and agree that we do not allow extensions beyond the three-month term for lay-by payment plans. However, if you require more time, you may cancel your item and repurchase it, subject to the 15% lay-by cancellation fee.

By entering into this LayBye agreement, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions. It is recommended that you retain a copy of this agreement for your records.
