- More than 40 homesteads.
- Critical public institutions: a clinic, a primary school, a police station, and government sub-offices.

As Johannes Nyamayedenga, the REA spokesperson, noted, the goal is to "electrify all previously marginalised communities by 2030," and this plant is a significant stride in that direction.

At the Tshitulipasi Clinic, the impact is life-changing. New mother Thando Matseru expressed her gratitude, saying, "We are grateful for this development. In the past, one had to bring candles when coming to give birth. Now, we have power and the environment is far more conducive." This simple, yet profound change underscores how reliable energy directly translates to improved safety and dignity in healthcare.

The benefits ripple out into every facet of community life. "Children are now learning with computers at school and shops can operate without disruption," explained Chitulipasi Solar Project chairperson Robert Hlongwani. "This is what rural industrialisation looks like."
Village Head Samson Moyo echoed this sentiment, hailing the initiative as a symbol of true inclusion. "We are now confident that no place is being left behind. The arrival of electricity has truly transformed this area."
