How to Avoid Extra Costs and Wasted Visit Fees on Solar System Services

"Wasted Visit" Fees

We often visit homes for scheduled solar system services only to find that access was blocked or the system is not ready for service. Common issues include breakers being turned off, locked gates or doors, pets restricting access, or missing keys/codes needed to reach your solar system.

Please be aware that if a technician arrives for an after-hours service and cannot access your property, a “Wasted Visit” fee of up to $100 may be applied to cover deployment costs. Always ensure someone is home, access is arranged, and the system is ready before booking an emergency callout.
